In the Name of God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
Today is the one year anniversary of God, Faith, and a Pen. I can’t believe it has been one year since I started this blog. This has been one of the best things for me and my writing. I typically wrote much more than I could publish on the websites for which I write columns. Thus, the blog was a godsend for me: to get my thoughts out there for others to read.
In addition, it helps me tremendously. Writing is a great cathartic for me, and it helps me when I get my thoughts on the computer screen. For example, after I saw “Hotel Rwanda,” I could not sleep until I wrote something about it. I thank the Precious Beloved for this blog.
I also deeply thank all of you. I know I have said “Thank You” so many times in the past, but I just can’t help it. You all do not know how much it means to me that you spend some time out of your busy lives with me on my blog. I read each and every comment and email, and I value your feedback (good and bad), and I appreciate your kind comments. You are why I write, and I deeply, deeply, deeply appreciate your company on my own spiritual journey.
Thanks so much for sticking with me throughout this year. I hope and pray this blog continues to grow and flourish. It could not do so without the Precious Lord’s blessing and your gracious indulgence of my musings. I pray the Lord God blesses each and everyone of you with all that is good, pure, and holy in this life and the next. You all do not know how special you all are to my heart. Godspeed and God bless.
